Obituary

Patsy Loanne Hargrove McMennamy passed from this life on July 22, 2023 at the age of 83. She was born January 3, 1940 in Wolf City, Texas to Emory Aldred and Myrtice Maxcine Hargrove. She married her high school sweetheart "Mack" Thomas G. McMennamy and they shared over 50 years together. Patsy retired from JC Penny as head of sales and was a quilt maker. She was a member of various quilting groups and the Hub City Cruisers. More than anything, she enjoyed her family. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and was a trooper in hot rodding with her husband. She will be remembered for her motherly advice, storytelling and not liking having her picture taken! Her amazing bread pudding, banana bread, and cookies we loved by all.
Patsy is survived by John and Belinda McMennamy, Mickey and Pam McMennamy, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way, and 2 sisters. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Mack, her son Gary Wayne, and her brother Aldred.
Visitation will be held from 3:00pm- 9:00pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the Dickens Cemetery.
