Pablo Flores Obituary

Pablo Flores of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Feb 10, 2020. He was a beloved son of God, son, brother, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle and friend. The love Pablo had in his heart and demonstrated for his family and friends was like no other. He loved “God the Father” and his faith was strong. He loved his mom and dad and honored them dearly. Pablo loved his siblings, and we loved him just as much. He was referred to as “Pablito.” He adored his son and daughter. When they were born, he was on cloud nine. You couldn’t have seen a prouder father. His son is the first Pablo Jr.  He called his son “My Champ” and his loving daughter Sonyarey,  "Cadillac Sonya."

Then when his grandkids and great-grandkids were born he could not quit talking about them, and he became the greatest Grandpa ever. They were his “Angels.” He lived his life for his kids and grandkids. He loved his friends and cared for them as if they were brothers and sisters.

Pablo was dearly loved by all his 67 nieces and nephews, whom he treated as his own children.

Paul was an all-sports guy. He grew up playing baseball with our dad and brother. He coached baseball and youth football and won plenty of championships.

He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved and lived Dallas Cowboys. Anyone who knew Paul knew about his love for the Cowboys. He also loved golf. He played and competed in many golf tournaments and had his share of wins in the game. He worked at Meadow Brooke for several years where he mastered a hole in one!  Paul also worked at Texas Tech and loved his Red Raiders. He got to know a lot of football and basketball players through the years and became a die-hard Red Raider fan.

Pablo had the biggest heart full of love for his family and friends, but most of all he loved his God first. He is much loved and missed by all of his family.
