Mary (Garcia) Ramirez

Mary G. Ramirez passed from this life on March 17, 2023 at the age of 82. She was born November 28, 1940 in Tahoka, Texas to Jose and Josefa Garcia. On February 24, 1958 she married Rev. Enoch V. Ramirez in San Angelo, Texas, and they shared 37 years together. Mary was a member of Sinai Worship Center. She enjoyed sewing, planting flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her delicious tamales and the many ministries she served as a pastor's wife.
Mary is survived by her children Jessie Ann Ramirez, Fabian Ramirez, Rachel Ramirez, Diane Ramirez and Elida Ruiz; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; two brothers Pedro and Juan Garcia, and her sister Josefina Martinez. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her grandson Abraham Lara, two brothers Wally Joe and Joe Garcia, and two sisters Concepcion Rodriguez and Antonia Sanchez.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Joe Aguilar officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 22 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
