Jorge Ariciaga Obituary

Jorge Loredo Ariciaga passed away on Thursday, November 4th, 2021 in Idalou, Texas at the age of 57.

Born on June 4th, 1964 to Tomas and Catarina Ariciaga. Jorge lived his early life in Mexico between Monterrey, Nuevo Leon and RioVerde, San Luis Potosi. In the mid to late 80s, he moved to Idalou, Texas with his sister and her husband and spent the rest of his life there.

Jorge was a hard worker and a man of many talents which led to him having various jobs to provide for his family. These jobs included working at the Idalou Egg Farm and IFCO Systems.

Jorge was a loving man, and he loved his family the most. He was an adoring and dedicated father to his children. They were the center beam of his life, and he gave them everything he could as their father. He and his wife Angie shared 21 years together. Throughout those years, he took care of her and her 3 children to the best of his abilities, and he often referred to them as his children, too. Jorge did all that he could for his family from buying his sister her favorite sweet bread to picking up his great-nieces and nephews from school. If he was needed, he was there without hesitation. He was a talker and often had LONG conversations about anything from life to fixing his truck. Jorge also loved rodeos and farm life. He would seek out opportunities to ride a bull and would jump at the chance to work on a farm. Jorge was a cowboy through and through.

Jorge was preceded in death by his mother, Catarina Ariciaga, his father, Tomas Ariciaga, sister, Carmela Garcia, brother, Reynaldo Ariciaga, son, Joe Garza Jr., and daughter, Jennifer Garza. He is survived by his wife Angelica Garza; children, Diana "Mickie" Hall and husband Patrick, Ana Ariciaga and partner Jeremiah, Danielle Martinez and partner Je'Adrian, Ashley Garza, Jorge Ariciaga Jr., and Omar Ariciaga; grandchildren, Josiah Garza, Uriah Garza, Serenitee Martinez, Draya Garza, Averi Gonzales, Jai Leigh McDowell, Javian Garza, Arabella Hall, Aubree Gonzales, Liliana Morris, Alaiyah Gonzales, Layla Gonzales; sisters, Siria Ariciaga Treviño and husband Alfonso, Chavela Loredo Ariciaga and husband Catarino, Margarita Loredo Ariciaga and husband Herculano; nieces and nephews, Alfonso Treviño Jr., Hector Treviño and wife Mary Cruz, Julio Treviño and wife Karen, Guadalupe Treviño and husband Hugo; and many loved ones across Mexico and Texas.
