Jerome Madrid

Jerome Madrid, 41 of Prosper, TX, passed away unexpectedly on August 06, 2022. Even though his human experience is complete, his heavenly journey has just begun. Although he left this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all his family and friends to follow.

Since Jerome entered this world on April 17, 1981 he was the life of the party everywhere he went. He had a zest for life that could not match any other. He loved to laugh, make jokes, and spread his infectious joy to all those around him.

He was blessed with a large loving family. 

His mother Terri Esponisa was his greatest cheerleader in all aspects of his life. They had an unbreakable bond, and it was obvious that he adored her wholeheartedly. She taught him one of his greatest pillars in life; unconditional love.

His father Jaime Rivera cherished Jerome. He always told him, “How do you spell Love? T-I-M-E”. This stuck with Jerome throughout his lifetime. Time was something that Jerome always had to give anyone who needed it. No matter what, he had time for you.

Jerome was Mr. GQ, ever since he was a teenager, which is what caught the attention of his wife Priscilla in middle school when they were just 13 years old. A true story of love at first sight as they have been inseparable ever since.

Together they had 3 amazing children Haleigh (23), Tavian (22), and Cecileigh (17) They were the joy of his life. He provided everything they wanted and more. He always supported their biggest dreams, and taught them that they could do and be anything they worked towards. Nothing will ever be able to stop them.

Jerome’s mindset was one of his greatest strengths. To him, there was nothing he couldn’t achieve with the right state of mind and a healthy dose of hard work. Through his sheer determination, he created a flourishing roofing business called Roof Wrks Mastery from the ground up. His motivation was to provide for his beautiful family, a job at which he excelled. He was always looking to inspire and show anyone that would listen to the importance of a positive mindset and what it could achieve, if they wouldn’t listen, he would lead them by example.

When Jerome wasn’t working, he would find joy in giving back to his community. He would often provide meals to the homeless or randomly gift them clothes. He found a true passion in the form of giving to others. He realized how simple acts of kindness could change a person's day and maybe even their life.

At the core of it all, Jerome’s life was rooted in his faith. His church was Church on the Rock and his life was guided by scripture and prayer. He embraced the holy spirit and was not afraid to spread his beliefs.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Priscilla Madrid, he is a proud father of three children Haleigh Madrid, Cecileigh Madrid, Tavian Madrid, His loving Mother Terri Espinosa, stepfather Danny Espinosa, Father Jaime Riveria, Siblings Alexis Espinosa Adame, Ethan Espinosa, Jaime Junior Rivera , Albert Rivera , Micah Rivera and Mia Rivera, Maya Rivera Grandmothers Carolina Madrid, Dora Rivera Preceded in death by his grandfathers Tony Amedeo Madrid and Celestino Rivera

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11th, 2022 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Church on the Rock 105th and Slide Road.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 12th, 2022 at Church on the Rock.
