Janie Guerrero Obituary

Janie Trevino Guerrero passed from this life on June 10, 2022 at the age of 69. She was born May 20, 1953 in Lubbock, TX to Armanda Flores and Richard Trevino. She graduated from Whitharral High School and worked as a CNA and Restorative Aide at Carillon. Janie married Servando Guerrero, Jr. on January 5, 1977 and they shared 46 years together. She was a member of Iglesia de Dios Vivo and enjoyed bingo, sewing, coloring and spending time with family playing Trouble. Janie will be remembered for her love, hard work, and helping others. She never turned away from people who needed her most.

Janie is survived by her husband Servando Guerrero, Jr., her children Janice Martinez, Stephen Castro, Michael Trevino, Monica Guerrero, Rachel Guerrero, Susan Guerrero, Lydia Guerrero, Gina Santos, Servando Guerrero III, 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Armanda and Richard Trevino, her brother Pete Trevino and her sister Guadalupe Salinas.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm- 9:00pm on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Iglesia de Dios Vivo.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Iglesia de Dios Vivo.
