Daniel Escobedo

Daniel Escobedo, 87,of Texline, Texas, passed away on November 10, 2023 in Amarillo, Texas. Daniel was born to Maclovio and Jovita Escobedo on September 15, 1936 in Waxahachie, Texas. He married Dulcinea Lovato in Lubbock and they were married 52 years. 

He was precede in death by his wife, Dulcinea; his daughter, Martina Hernandez; a grandson, TJ Dawson; his parents; his brothers, Raul Escobedo and David Escobedo; his sisters, Hortencia Contreras and Otila Brown.

He is survived by his son, Daniel (Katy) Escobedo of Childress/Amarillo, Texas; his daughters, Ester Escobedo of Goodwell, Oklahoma and Mary Ann (Terry) Dawson of Amarillo, Texas; brothers Roy Escobedo and Jose Escobedo both of Lubbock, Texas; a sister, Olivia Villanueva of Odessa, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm- 9:00pm on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with a Rosary beginning at 7:00pm.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery in Woodrow, Texas.
