Carolina Ramos Castillo

Carolina Ramos Castillo went to her eternal home August 11, 2021, at the age of 60. She was born May 15, 1961, in San Juan, Texas to Gabriel Ramos and Ricarda Lara Ramos. She married Louis Castillo December 6, 1976, and they shared 45 years together. Carolina was a loving homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching her favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all Carolina enjoyed family time. Being with her husband, children, and grandchildren was her happy place. She will be remembered for her loving heart and big smile that would light up the whole room, her taste of music, and her funny comments. Her just being herself was more than enough. She loved everyone and everyone loved her just as much.
Carolina is survived by her husband Louis Castillo; her children Sueretha Castillo, Roger Castillo, Cecelia Flores, Rebecca Castillo, and Louis Castillo, Jr.; sons-in-law Joseph Flores and Christopher Hernandez; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother Ricarda Ramos, her father Gabriel Ramos, her brothers Gabriel Ramos, Jr., Ruben Ramos, and Pablo Ramos, her sister Teresa Carranco, and her grandsons Efrain Ruiz III and Damien Mendoza.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 14 from 9:00 to 9:00 and Sunday, August 15 from 3:00 to 9:00 with the Holy Rosary Prayer at 7:00 Sunday evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 16 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
