Yolanda Garcia

Yolanda Rodriguez Garcia passed from this life on May 25, 2023 at the age of 65. She was born August 5, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas to Guadalupe and Janie Rodriguez.  On February 8, 1973 she married Albert Garcia, Jr. and they shared 50 years together.  She was the backbone of her family, a strong woman who did whatever it took to make things happen and keep everyone together. Yolanda was a cashier at Rosa’s Café.  She loved to go to the casinos to play the slot machines and plan family events.

Yolanda is survived by her husband Albert, her children Marie Torres and Vincent Garcia, her 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, her sister Janie Ramos and husband Oscar, and her brother Sandy Rodriguez.  She is preceded in death by her son Chris Garcia, her father Guadalupe Rodriguez, her brother Robert Rodriguez, and her in laws Albert and Josephine Garcia, and Raul Garcia.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 30 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary at 7:00.
