Valbina G. (Garza) Lopez

Valbina G. Lopez, 86 of Lorenzo, Texas passed away on January 23, 2020 at Brady West Rehab Nursing Facility in Brady Texas. She was born on March 31, 1933, in Runge, Texas. Valbina Lopez was our beloved mother and our grandmother who raised not only her children, but she also assisted in raising her grandchildren. She moved to Floydada, Texas from South Texas as migrate worker. She was introduced to our father Carlos Lopez, and they had two other additional children. They were married for 49 years and lived in Lorenzo, Texas together. She was survived by her 4 daughters Isabel Zamora, Esther Trevino, Sally Miranda, and Judy Lopez. She also is survived by 36 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Carlos "Charlie" Lopez, son David Trevino, daughter Diana Trevino, granddaughter Caprece Hernandez, granddaughter Gina Steffens, her parents, one sister and two brothers.



Services will be held at San Lorenzo Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. with Father Dhass officiating. Interment will be at Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Viewing will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 26. Friends and family are invited to pray the rosary at 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 27 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
