Tony Camargo

With deep respect and fond remembrance, we celebrate the life of Tony Camargo, who passed quietly on August 5, 2026, surrounded by family, love, and joy. Tony was born on September 2, 1934, in Brady, Texas, a place that would remain close to his heart throughout his 91 years.

Tony was known throughout his community as a hardworking and generous man, always willing to help anyone in need. His commitment to his work as a landscaper was matched only by his dedication to making those around him feel at ease with a laugh or a kind word. His quick wit and infectious smile brought joy to countless lives, leaving behind memories filled with warmth and laughter.

He found great pleasure in collecting model cars, cherishing each piece both for its craftsmanship.

The foundation of Tony’s life was his beloved family. He leaves behind his children Eddie Camargo, Genaro (Monica) Camargo, Ricky (Francis) Camargo, Sandra Camargo, Mary Ellen (Pedro) Mesquias, Linda Elliot and Anthony Eliot, his sisters Sally Zapata and Esperanza Camargo, as well as 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Each of them carries forward his legacy of hard work, kindness, and the simple joy of sharing a laugh.

Tony is reunited in rest with his son Steve Camargo, his parents Genaro and Francisca Camargo, and his sisters Olga Morin and Rita Lopez to be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
