Timothy "Juju" Herrera Jr.

Timothy "Juju" Herrera Jr. was born on March 8, 2001, in Levelland, Texas, and tragically passed away on August 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him. He was a dedicated substation foreman and a proud graduate of Brownfield High School, achieving his career goals while embodying the values of hard work and determination.

Juju was known for his vibrant personality and an infectious spirit that lit up any room he entered. He had a unique ability to make everyone laugh and feel included, always offering his unwavering support to those around him. His selfless, loving, and respectful nature endeared him to friends and family alike. A true foodie at heart, he enjoyed quality time with his son, Aiden Alexander Herrera, and shared a profound love for sports that brought him closer to his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Larisa Herrera; his cherished son, Aiden; and his siblings, Krista Lynn, Elizabeth Miranda, Victoria Lucia, and Rogelio Herrera; his mother Rebecka Garcia, his father Timothy Lee Herrera, Sr. and his mom Lali Herrera; and his nephews Jayy, Kalem, Jaxon, and niece K'Lynn Pesina.

Juju's memory will also be honored through the loving reminiscences of those who knew him, particularly his grandfathers, Guadalupe Herrera, Sr. "SuperLup," Chindo Correa "Popo Correa," and Domingo Garcia "Mingo" who have preceded him in death.

The blessings of his life will be celebrated during several services held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels located at 407 N University Ave, Lubbock, TX. Visitation will be available on August 11, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. More visitation will take place on August 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and another Rosary will be held that same day at 7:00 PM, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, located at 5802 22nd St, Lubbock, TX. A Mass will be celebrated in his honor on August 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM, also at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, followed by burial at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, TX, at 11:30 AM.

Timothy "Juju" Herrera Jr. will forever be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, cherished brother, and a friend to many. His legacy of laughter, kindness, and support will continue to inspire those who had the privilege to know him.
