Timmy DeLeon, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 51. Born on October 18, 1974, Timmy was a graduate of Lubbock High School and spent his life proudly working as a truck driver. He was known for his gentle soul and huge heart, qualities that left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Timmy possessed a unique ability to make people laugh, bringing joy and warmth to both family gatherings and casual encounters. His love for his family was evident, particularly in the way he cherished his wife, Christina Garza. She fondly remembers how he consistently showed his love and affection, creating a bond that was celebrated by all who knew them.
As a devoted father, Timmy took immense pride in his son, Timmy DeLeon, Jr., viewing him as one of his proudest accomplishments. His family life was further enriched by his role as a stepfather to Devyn, Dax, and Kadyn Gajdos, with whom he shared many cherished moments.
Timmy was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and his love for riding his Harley and working on his Harley truck was a notable part of his identity. These hobbies brought him joy and fulfillment, allowing him to express his adventurous spirit.
Timmy is survived by his loving wife, Christina Garza; his brother, Albert DeLeon; his son, Timmy DeLeon, Jr.; his stepsons, Devyn, Dax, and Kadyn Gajdos; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Narcisco DeLeon and Delores Duque, who undoubtedly take comfort in being reunited with their son.
Timmy DeLeon’s legacy of love, laughter, and compassion remains alive in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the immense joy and kindness he brought into the world.
