Susana (Galindo) Ruiz

Susana Ruiz passed from this life on October 10, 2023 at the age of 75. She was born on January 19, 1948 in Taft, Texas to Francisca Pena Galindo and Refugio Galindo. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cooking. Susana retired from National Linen after 25 years of service. She will be remembered for caring for her children and grandchildren.
Susana is survived by her three daughters Sandra Ruiz Luna (Jesse), Veronica Garcia, and Victoria Ruiz, her son Benito Ruiz, Jr., seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and five sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents, two of her sisters Ruth Navarrette and Margie Flores, and her half-sister Erminia Salazar.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 16 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
