Stephanie Chapa

Stephanie Ramirez Chapa, 54, of Slaton, went to rest with our Lord on June 30th, 2023.  Stephanie will always be remembered for her outgoing personality, her welcoming spirit, her endless love for those who were blessed enough to be brought into her circle, and the fierceness with which she loved her family, by blood and chosen. For those of us lucky enough to have met Stephanie, the memory of her infectious laughter that could easily fill any room, will bring us comfort for the rest of our days. In better times, you would have found Stephanie being the life of any party; a perfect day for her would have been in the company of her family and friends at home or beating the odds at a casino or dancing the night away with the love of her life, her husband Thomas, and friends.

She will be remembered forever and always by anyone that met her, but will live on in the hearts of her family that she leaves behind, including her loving husband, Thomas Chapa; her parents by choice, Jose and Virginia Armenta; her son Antonio Jesus Chapa, and daughter-in-law Maria Chapa Garcia; her son Michael Jeremy Chapa, and daughter-in-law Krystal Chapa; her daughter Tiffany Yvonne Fox, and son-in-law Sean Fox; her daughter Claudia Mackenzie Chapa, and son-in-law Caleb Joseph Scott; her son Aydan Thomas Chapa; and her daughter Ashlynn Grace Chapa, as well as her grandchildren Christian Issac Dabila, Alyanna Esperanza Chapa, Antonio Jesus Chapa, Jr., Caitlin Elizabeth Chapa, Kelsie Lynn Chapa, Paulina Judith Rios, Evangelina Del Carmen Rios, and Cobin Michael Scott, plus many other family members and friends who will miss her greatly.

Please feel free to wear jeans and cowboy boots or whatever you would feel most comfortable in to celebrate Stephanie. Flowers (pink and yellow roses were her favorite) can be sent to the funeral home.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Wednesday, July 5th,2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, July 6th,2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
