Stacy Deanna (Hutchens) Westbrook

Stacy Deanna Hutchens Westbrook passed from this life and into the arms of Jesus on December 16, 2022.

Stacy was born July 5, 1970 to Billy Don and Mary Hutchens. She enjoyed growing up in Goree, TX and was a proud graduate of Goree High School. She attended Methodist School of Nursing and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Stacy spent her life in service to others with 29 years as a nurse, predominantly working in home healthcare and most recently serving as an educator for the nurses of Accentcare Home Health. She loved football, live music, traveling, and shopping, but most of all she loved any chance she had to spend time with her family and her friends. She will be remembered as a compassionate caregiver, a friend for life, and the best mother.

Stacy is survived by her children Marissa Westbrook Moore and her husband Brandon, Skylar Westbrook, and Storm Westbrook; her sister Pam Hutchens Kiser and husband Michael, her brother Billy Jay Hutchens; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Billy Don and Mary Hutchens.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 19 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 20 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mitch Wilson officiating at Guajardo Funeral Chapels 407 N. University Avenue.
Interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Goree Cemetery in Goree, TX.
