Sophie Beltran

Sophie R. Beltran, 68-year-old passed from this life on Saturday November 11, 2023.

She was the wife of Luciano Beltran. They married on December 13, 1985, in Lubbock, Texas they shared 37 ½ years together.

She was born August 17, 1955, in Lubbock, Texas to Demetrio Reyes and Josefina Reyes.

She was a stay-at-home wife and mother.

Sophie enjoyed cruising around and loved to cook. She was always the life of the party!

She will be remembered, for all the love she shared with everyone she knew.

She is survived by her husband and her Children: Tany (Estevan) Saldana, Cruz (Dora) Lucero,

Frankie Lira and Bobby (Alexis) Lira.  She had 14 grandchildren:  12 great-grandchildren and one Sister: Ofelia Miranda of Lorenzo, Texas.

Elouisa Tamez, Gracie Reyes of Lubbock. Nellie Reyes, Gloria Romero of Dallas, Texas. Brother: Fidencio Reyes, Cruz Reyes, Elias Reyes of Lubbock, Texas.

Sophie is preceded in death by Dad: Demetrio Reyes, Mother Josefina Reyes.  Granddaughter: Victoria Lucero and 6 brothers, 3 sisters.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Tuesday, November 14th,2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00pm.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 at Freedom Baptist Church in Lubbock.

Interment will follow at Abernathy IOOF Cemetery,
