Sophia Alma (Ramos) Huerta

Sophia Alma Huerta passed from this life on July 17, 2022 at the age of 54. She was born January 30, 1968 in Salinas, California to Joe and Rosa Ramos. She was a graduate of Estacado High School in Lubbock,TX. Sophia married Randy Huerta on July 5, 1986. She was a kind and loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her little "peanut" Kinsley. Sophia was a very social person who enjoyed traveling and being around people. She will be missed for her big smile, big eyes, and big heart. You would never find her without her make-up or hair done, that was a must. She loved her son Jacob immensely. She was a trusting, loving person who never expected anything in return. Sophia was always concerned for her family and wanted the best for them.

Sophia is survived by her son Jacob Huerta of Lubbock, TX, her mother Rosa Ramos, her siblings Joe Ramos, Jr. of Laredo,TX and Sonia Aleman of Lubbock, TX, and numerous nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband Randy Huerta and her father Joe Ramos.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
