Sophia is survived by her brother Steven Cadena and his wife Martha; her sons Ruben Garza and Ramon Garza, and her daughter Sondra Garza. She is also loved and remembered by her 10 grandchildren Israel Rodriguez, Alexandra Rodriguez, Dominique Rodriguez, Lysandra Rodriguez, Mikayla Rodriguez, Alondra Garza, Claudia Garza, Yolivette Garza, Ruben Jr Garza, and Ariah Garza; and 4 great-grandchildren Zaylynn Sosa, Andres Campos, Analeia Campos, and Baby Martinez.
She is preceded in death by her son Recardo Garza, Jr., her mother Felicia Cadena, her father T.F. Cadena, and her brother Manuel Cadena.
