Silvestre Serna

Silvestre Serna, went to be with his Lord and Savior November 29, 2020 at the age of 86. He was born June 5, 1934 in Clegg, TX to Manuela and Francisco Serna. On September 13, 1971 he married his love Gloria and shared 49 years together. Silvestre was a supervisor at Clark Lift Enterprises and a member of the Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed sports, cooking, and watching wrestling. Silvestre was a compassionate man with unconditional love for everyone. He will be remembered as a great father and grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Gloria; his daughters Ester Serna, Sandra Monjardin, and Gloria Gonzalez; his sons Ernest Serna, Pete Limon, and Silvestre Serna, Jr.; his 26 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Silvestre Serna is preceded in death by his brothers Manuel Serna, Chico Serna, and Jesus Serna; and his sisters Eva Serna, Teresa Serna, and Paula Serna.
Visitation will begin Sunday, December 6 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and will continue Monday, December 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary service at 7:00 Monday evening. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 on Tuesday, December 8 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
