Savas G. Ballejo

Savas G. Ballejo, 85, passed away July 2, 2021, in Lubbock, Texas. Savas was born December 5, 1935, in Karnes City to Julian Ballejo and Guadalupe Garces.
He is survived by his sons David Ballejo, Savas Ballejo Jr. and his daughter Mary Sarate (Henry), 14 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. His sisters Janie Cermeno, Consuela "Connie" Becerra, and Edubina Ballejo, and his brothers Albert and Antonio "Tony".
He is preceded in death by his parents Julian and Guadalupe Ballejo; his wife Audelia Ballejo; his daughter Diana Ballejo; one grandson Matthew Ballejo; his brothers Guadalupe, Emilio, Jose, Enrique, Julian Ballejo, Jr, Ramon, Emelio and Jose Angel; and his sisters Lela Salas and Esperanza Ballejo.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 17 from 9:00 to 9:00 and Sunday, July 18 from 3:00 to 9:00. A prayer service will be held Sunday evening at 7:00. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 19 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with burial to follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
