Sarah Alfaro

Sarah Herrera Alfaro was born February 11, 1943 to Teodoro Sr. and Sara (Cuellar) Herrera in Galveston, Texas and passed from this life on March 4, 2023. She married Ricardo Alfaro on August 31, 2001.
Sarah is survived by her son Daniel William Kongstvedt Sr., her daughters Esther (Daniel) Perez, Cynthia (Leon) Bocanegra, Linda (Wade) Stoneham all from Lubbock, Texas, and Sabrina (Fernando) Gonzales from California. She is also survived by her sister Anita (Tony) Salas from Levelland, Texas, her brothers Jose Angel (Enedina) Herrera from San Antonio, Texas and Gilbert (Marylou) Herrera from Alvin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne Kongstvedt Rodriguez, and her four brothers Aurelio, Teodoro, Guadalupe, and Ramon Herrera.
Sarah has 16 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM- 9:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 9th, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Internment will follow in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.
