San Juanita (Janie) Lopez

Janie Lopez was born September 25,1959 in Maxwell, Texas and passed from this life on January 24,2024 at the age of 64. She married Tony Lopez on September 4, 1999 and they shared seven years together. She loved reading, old movies, cruising, dancing, cooking, and her cats who brought her so much joy. Janie will be remembered for the joy and laughter she brought to everyone. She was very knowledgeable and knew a little bit about everything. She embodied the best qualities, including unconditional love and strength of spirit.
Janie is survived by her oldest son, Erich Lopez and granddaughter Stephanie Lopez, her sisters Mercedes (Paul) Estrada and Eva (Rick) Rios, her brothers Jr. Lopez and Adam (Terri) Lopez, two nieces Crystal Rios and Alex Rios, four nephews Jacob Estrada, Daniel Estrada, Ricky Rios, Jr., and Zachary Rios, and several great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Eliazar (Chale) and Janie Lopez, her husband Tony Lopez, and her son Anthony Lopez.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 28 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary at 7:00.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
