San Juana Salazar, a devoted mother, partner, and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 31, 2026. Born on October 12, 1965, in San Alberto, Coahuila, she devoted her life to hard work and the well-being of her loved ones.
Throughout her life, San Juana was known for her unyielding determination and strong spirit. She worked tirelessly, never shying away from the challenges that came her way, and was respected in her community for her dedication and commitment. Her son, Jose Salazar, fondly remembers her infectious smile and unwavering devotion to her Christian faith. She even created her own cassette tapes filled with praises to the Lord, reflecting her deep-rooted beliefs and love for her faith.
Her daughter, Soraima Cerbantes, holds cherished memories of car rides filled with joy and laughter, where personal conversations and shared moments brought them closer together. San Juana's life was a testament to the power of family, as she took great pride in her children Jose and his fiance Sheila, and her daughter Soraima and her life partner Zack; her grandchildren, Anahi Salazar, Wyatt Shaw, and Chyanne Shaw were also a source of immense joy for her.
San Juana's personality shone brightly; she was known for her stubbornness, determination, and love for her family and friends. She found happiness in the simple things, such as singing, working outdoors, and of course, enjoying coffee and cigarettes while dreaming of hitting the jackpot, always searching for her "millionaire man." She finally got the richest one of them all!
She leaves behind not just her immediate family—including her loving mother, Marina Zamora Quillares, her life partner, Raymundo Cerbantes and her 11 brothers and sisters—but also a vast network of friends and extended family, including several nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.
San Juana is preceded in death by her father, Juan Rogelio Sepulveda de los Santos, and her husband, Jose Efrain Salazar. As we mourn her passing, we celebrate a life defined by unwavering love, diligent work, and a legacy of warmth that will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
San Juana Salazar will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to shine in the hearts of those she cherished throughout her life.
