Ruben Villarreal 54 of Lubbock passed away Sunday September 15, 2019. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday September 19, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Rudy Crasta. Interment will follow in the Lubbock Cemetery under the care of Guajardo Funeral Chapels of Lubbock. A rosary will be held Wednesday September 18, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Home. Ruben was born on October 12, 1964, in Lubbock, to Pedro and Mercedes Villarreal. Ruben is preceded in death by his mother. Ruben is survived by his father; Pedro Villarreal of Wolfforth and sister Emma Villarreal-Davila of Garland, and brothers Armando, Pedro Jr., David Villarreal of Lubbock and Ramiro Villarreal of Wolfforth. Pallbearers will be Ralph Gonzalez, Emilio Gonzalez, Esteban Villarreal, Jason Villarreal, Alejandro Villarreal, Arath Villarreal and Mark Montemayor.
