Rosendo Martinez

Rosendo Martinez of Lubbock, TX was born on March 1, 1961 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Gregorio and Maria De Jesus Martinez who preceded him in death. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 21, 2019 at the age of 58 years. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Barrientos; children, Jose Martinez (Jennifer), Alvarado Martinez (Patricia), Isabel Martinez (Miguel), Enrique Martinez (Andrea), Julian Martinez (Shelby), Michael San Miguel and Priscilla Martinez; 16 grandchildren; sisters, Margarita Martinez, Rosario Rosales, Gregoria Martinez and Martina Martinez; brothers, Juan Martinez, Jose Martinez and Geraldo Martinez; and by. Visitation will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Wednesday, April 24 from 3-9pm and again on Thursday, April 25 from 9am-9pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 26, 2019 beginning at 2:00pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
