Rosa B. Abreo

Rosa B. Abreo, beloved housewife and homemaker, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026. Born on August 26, 1938, in Big Spring, Texas, Rosa devoted her life to nurturing and cherishing her family, leaving behind a legacy marked by love, warmth, and unwavering devotion.

Throughout her life, Rosa embodied the true spirit of togetherness. She never harbored any hate and instead chose to share all her love generously with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her radiant smile and joyful presence were the heart of her home, especially when surrounded by her family. Her favorite and most treasured role was being a grandmother; her world would light up whenever her grandchildren filled the house with laughter and happiness.

Rosa took immense pride in her family, which she considered her greatest accomplishment. As a devoted wife, she shared many years with her late husband, Noe B. Abreo. Together, they built a loving family, the foundation of which was strengthened by Rosa’s gentle care and steadfast support.

She is survived by her daughter, Nora Abreo; her sons, Joshua Abreo and Noah Abreo; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren. Their lives continue to be enriched by her memory and the values she instilled.

Rosa was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, Noe B. Abreo; her son, Salvador B. Abreo; her daughter, Irma Abreo; her parents, Cleto and Manuela Barrera; and all her siblings. These losses, though profound, speak to the depth of the family ties that Rosa held dear throughout her life.

Her family, gathered and close, will remember her not only for her role as a homemaker but for her unwavering kindness and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Rosa B. Abreo’s life was a testament to the power of family and love, a legacy that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege to know her.
