Rodolfo Villarreal

Rodolfo Villarreal passed from this life on December 4, 2022 at the age of 75. He married Olga Villarreal on June 27, 1970, and they shared 52 years together. Rodolfo was born April 26, 1947 in Mission, TX to Felix and Aurora Villarreal. He attended Lockney High School and was given his diploma after his return from Vietnam. Rodolpho served in the United States Army and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was self-employed and co-owner of Bob Hassell Landscaping. He enjoyed having barbecues with his family, watching football, and fishing. He will be remembered for being the greatest husband, dad, and grandpa in the world.
Rodolfo is survived by his wife Olga; his mother Aurora Villarreal; his children Elaine (Michael) Ortiz, Lisa (Julio) Olaez, Rudy (Crystal) Villarreal; his eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Felix Villarreal and his grandson Leandro Gary Garcia.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Thursday, December 8 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, December 9 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
