Roberto Garcia

January 12, 1960 — September 13, 2025

and Roberto G. Garcia, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, passed away on September 13, 2025, in the company of his loved ones. Born on January 12, 1960, in Lubbock, Texas, Roberto led a life marked by his passion for mechanics and an unwavering dedication to his family.

A respected mechanic by trade, Roberto was known for his exceptional skills and his love for working on cars, often sharing this passion with his son, Albert Cisco Garcia. Throughout his life, he found joy in the simple pleasures, whether it was the sound of oldies music, the smell of barbecue ribs sizzling on the grill, or cruising in lowriders. He often reminisced about these memories during family gatherings, moments that brought immense joy to his heart.

Roberto's personality was defined by his loving and caring nature. He prioritized the well-being of his family above all else, and his grandchildren held a special place in his heart. With a spirit that exemplified selflessness, he consistently put others before himself, a quality that endeared him to all who knew him. His proudest accomplishments included witnessing the growth and happiness of his grandchildren and embracing a new path in life by surrendering it to Christ Jesus.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Nancy Perales, and their daughters, Crystal Garcia and Evon Garcia. His legacy continues through his son, Albert Cisco Garcia, and his son-in-law, Lee Hodges, as well as his daughters-in-law, Stephanie Ramirez and Kendra Deherrera. Roberto was a proud grandfather to Carlos Delacerda, Angel Delacerda, Angelina Delacerda, Jason Hodges, Zahryah Garcia, Nellie Garcia, Robert Garcia, Jayden and Cruzito Ramos, Nichlos, Deliza, and Izayah Garcia. He also leaves behind five sisters and three brothers, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

Roberto was preceded in death by his mother, Abelina Garcia, his father, Herbert Garcia, his brother, Demetrio Garcia, and his sister, Julie Garcia. He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and commitment to his family, as well as his unforgettable saying, "Slow and Eazy," which embodied his approach to life.

As we remember Roberto, let us carry forward the values he instilled in us — love, care, and the importance of family. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
