Redolfo "Rudy" Delgado Sr.

Redolfo "Rudy" Casanova Delgado Sr., 68, passed on from this life January 17, 2025, surrounded by his children and family. He was born on March 17, 1956, in Lubbock, Texas to Juan O. and Juanita C. Delgado. He was employed at D&H United Fueling Solutions. He enjoyed spending time with his family, sharing stories and memories, and watching his Dallas Cowboys play.

He is survived by his ex-wife and friend Frances Delgado, his children Rudy Jr. (Crystal) Delgado, Javier (Jennifer) Delgado, Jennifer (Isaac) Gonzales, his grandchildren Alexandra, Abigail, Anthony, Logan, and Lily, his great-grandchildren Ayven and Adam, mother Juanita, and multiple nieces and nephews. Rudy was the first of 12 children: Raymond, Eddie, Albert, Veronica, Sandra, Adam, Maria, Daniel, Carolina, David, and Christiana. He is preceded in death by his father Juan and sister Sandra.

Rudy will be remembered for his great sense of humor and big heart. He never met a stranger, and his smile was contagious. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm- 9:00pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with a Rosary beginning at 7:00pm.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.

Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.
