Rebekah Treadway

Snyder

Rebekah Sue Treadway, affectionately known as Becky, graced this world on May 30, 1973, in Lubbock, Texas. With a heart as expansive as the Texas sky, she touched the lives of many until she earned her angel wings on June 10, 2025, at the age of 52.

Becky embarked on her journey through life with a spirit that shone brightly from an early age. After completing her studies at Idalou High School in 1991, she began a career at Gristy’s Laundry & Dry Cleaners. Her commitment to hard work and dedication led her to the AT&T Call Center in Lubbock, where she thrived until fate guided her to Snyder, Texas, in May 2014. There, she met her soulmate, Lee Treadway, and found not just love, but a sense of belonging that would accompany her for the rest of her days. In Snyder, she embraced a new chapter at Walmart, working diligently until mid-2024.

Family was the nucleus of Becky's existence. She loved fiercely, always putting others' needs before her own. Her greatest pride and joy resided in her three beloved sons: William (Billy) David Gilbert, John Wesley Gilbert, and Nolan Lee (Trey) Treadway III. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and her admiration for their achievements radiated immeasurable warmth.

In every role she played—as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and aunt—Becky was a pillar of strength and love. She is survived by her devoted husband, Lee Treadway of Snyder, Texas, and her cherished sons. Becky's legacy continues through her parents, Nolan and Kathy Roach of Idalou, Texas; her sister, Stacy Morris (James) of Garland, Texas; and her two sisters-in-love, Teresa Kariainen of Snyder, Texas, and Joan Ramirez (Barney) of Hermleigh, Texas. Her family also encompasses her nephews, Allen Morris of Garland, Texas; Junior Ramirez (Sarah) of Snyder, Texas; and her nieces, Meghan (Terrence) Hubbard, Melanie Kariainen, and Morgan Kariainen of Snyder, Texas, along with Gloria (Jacob) Bingham and Keeghan Ramirez of Hermleigh, Texas. A vast network of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends stand witness to the brightness of Becky’s spirit.

Becky now joins those who have gone before her, including her father-in-love, Nolan Treadway; mother-in-love, Linda Treadway; brother-in-love, Ernie Kariainen; and her beloved grandparents, Ewell and Fern Tipton, and Jack and May Roach.

A celebration of Becky's extraordinary life will be planned at a later date, honoring the immeasurable love she shared and the profound impact she made on all who knew her. In our hearts, we hold onto her spirit, and in our memories, we cherish her laughter, compassion, and the radiant love she so generously poured into the lives of everyone around her.
