Raul "Rudy" Garcia

Raul Valdez Garcia “Rudy” passed from this life on February 17, 2025 at the age of 74.  He will be remembered for his kindness and love for all.  A music lover and talented musician, Raul loved playing his guitar and dancing.  He is survived by his sisters Jesusa Garza of Lubbock, Lorena Perales of California, Pascuala Camacho of Lubbock, and Isabel Garcia of Lubbock, and his nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents Gregorio and Luz Garcia, his sister Maria Lopez, and his brothers Martin Garcia and Gregorio Garcia, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-9:00pm on Sunday, February 23, 2025 and 9:00am-9:00pm Monday, February 24,2025 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. The Holy Rosary will be held Monday at 6:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, February 25,2025 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
