Randal Grant Snyder, known to his loved ones as Randy, passed unexpectedly at the ranch in Graham, Texas, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Born on December 16, 1966, in Wadsworth, Ohio, Randy was 59 years old.

Randy’s life was defined by deep devotion to family, an unwavering work ethic, and a steadfast kindness that touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a remarkable ability to bring comfort, laughter, and strength to those around him, whether they were family, friends, or strangers.

Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Snyder, who stood by his side through every stride of life’s journey. He leaves behind his cherished mother, Sandy Sasser, and his brother, Greg Snyder. His legacy continues with his children: Jessica Pierce and her husband Lane Pierce, Grant Snyder, Celeste Snyder, Shelby Johnson, and Lexie Johnson; his grandchildren: Shane Snyder, Easton Carlile, Kyndall Carlile, and Everleigh Johnson; his nieces, Alyssa and Kate Snyder; his nephew, Nick Snyder; and countless friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him. As his brother Greg so lovingly said, "He was the best big brother ever."

Though Randy was preceded in death by his daughter Krystal Snyder, he carried her memory in his heart every day. He also joins his grandparents, Ray and Portia Snyder, and Nolan “Slim” and Jewel Sasser, who helped shape his character and values from an early age.

Randy graduated from Keller High School in 1985. He began his career with Raytheon Electronics, where he worked for several years in Logistics before joining his brother, Greg Snyder, in the foundation repair business. Over the next 20 years, Randy became the go-to expert for foundation repair. His coworkers affectionately nicknamed him the "House Whisperer" because of his exceptional ability to diagnose problems and execute repair plans. He worked with Structured Foundation Company before later joining Elite Foundation. In March 2026, Randy and his wife were presented with an exciting new opportunity to become managers of Creed Ranch in Graham, Texas. Never one to shy away from a new adventure or challenge, Randy simply said, "Let's do it," and together they began an exciting new chapter filled with new experiences.

Randy never met a stranger. Once you were his friend, you were his friend for life. His love for his family and friends ran deep, and his generosity was evident not only in his heart but often in his wallet as well. He was the kind of person who could fix just about anything. The party began when Randy arrived and ended when he left. His infectious laugh, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Randy also had a special love for his dogs. His loyal companion, Hotrod, went everywhere with him and remained faithfully by his side until the very end.

He loved hard rock music turned up loud, whether he was driving his car or operating a piece of equipment. He also enjoyed fishing, playing darts, and basketball. Above all, Randy treasured his family and friends and had a remarkable gift for making new friends wherever he went.

Randy’s memory will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have shared in his life. His family and friends mourn his passing deeply, even as they honor the impact he made and the love he gave so freely.
