Rafael Galvan

Raphael Galvan Lopez passed from this life on June 9, 2023 at the age of 62. He was born August 8, 1961 in Lubbock, TX to Pablo Galvan and Margarita Lopez. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Raphael enjoyed working with his hands and woodworking. He liked to spend time playing with his dog and cat, making noise with his keyboard and guitar and was a Kiss fan. Raphael will be remembered for his big smile. He was a kid at heart, had smart remarks, and always a gentle giant.
Raphael is survived by his four sisters Maria Reyes Galvan Delgado of Lubbock, TX, Rosa Maria Galvan Buckner of Quitman, TX, Valentina Galvan Ramos, and Paula Galvan Flores of Lubbock, TX, one brother Cipriano (Bobby) Galvan of Lubbock, TX, and countless nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers Jacinto, Sylvester, Victor, Jose Antonio, and Jose Carlos, and two sisters Paulita and Flora.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.
