Pedro Garcia Gonzales

Pedro Gonzales, 90, passed away on November 23, 2020 at his home in Lubbock, TX.

He was born December 8, 1929 in Raymondville, TX to Aniceto Gonzales and Josefa Garcia. He was employed at Liberty Co-Op Gins and worked as a cotton ginner. He has been a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church since 1954.

He will be remembered for his patience, strong faith and sweetest nature. He always had a smile on his face and always ready to help everyone.

He is survived by his wife, Ofelia and was married for 70 years; his children Sylvia Pina and husband, Pete of New Braunfels, Cindy de la Garza of Idalou, Pedro Gonzales Jr and wife Roda of Lubbock, and Norma Dela Rosa and husband Felix of Lubbock; two sisters Carmen Guzman of Missouri City, TX and Margie Gonzales of Austin,TX; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Graveside service will be held Friday, November 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Peaceful Gardens with Rev. Reymundo Manriquez officiating.
