Paul Guerrero

Paul Guerrero Sr, a man who was the heart and soul of his family and his community, went home to be with Jesus on January 29, 2025 at 1:35 pm surrounded by his family. He was the father of six children Johnny Paul Guerrero, Ashlyanne Nicole Mendez, Paul Guerrero Jr., Jesse Solis, Louisa Ann Rodriguez, Adreanna Guerrero, and Breanna Guerrero. He was the grandfather of twelve Pedro, Analys, Johnny Jr., Kayla, Natalie, Jordan, Millie-anne, Elijah, Zoe Rae, Lilliana, Leevi, Lenix, Isabelliah, and Beau and great grandfather to two  Athena and Xzylas. He was the second oldest of six children of Raymond and Louisa Guerrero which included Raymond Guerrero Jr., Debbie Guerrero, Mary Guerrero, Melissa Ortiz and Robert Guerrero. He also spent 32 years of marriage with his wife Sally Guerrero and spent the last 5 years of his life with his girlfriend Yvette Esquivel (playa, playa!). He is preceded in death by his mom Louisa Guerrero and son Isaiah Rodriguez and many other loved and cherished family members. His influence and light extended far beyond his family. He was the epitome of humility and kindness, he was the father figure to many when they needed it the most. He was not just a mentor but a transformative figure in the community, known for his ability to see and nurture potential in everyone, no matter their background or challenges. His loss is great and his absence will be profoundly felt but his legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be on February 2, 2025 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels 407 N University Ave from 3pm-9pm.

Services to celebrate Paul’s life will be held on February 3, 2025 at The Worship Center (South Campus) 12701 Indiana Ave, at 11am.

Interment will be at Peaceful Gardens following the church service 15602 Tx-493 Loop, Woodrow, Texas.
