Olivia Luna Lara passed away on November 2, 2020 at the age of 85. She was born October 22, 1935 in Edinburg, Texas to Alvino and Alicia Luna. She shared 20 years with her husband Antonio Ortiz Lara.
Olivia was a wonderful housewife who enjoyed listening to music, planting flowers and cooking. She will be remembered for being strong willed yet loving in her own way. She put others before herself, and her family was very important to her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter June Lara; her sons Antonio Lara, Jr., Innocencio (Joe) Lara, Mike Lara, Richard Lara, and Chris Lara; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Olivia is preceded in death by her husband Antonio Ortiz Lara and her son Thomas Lara.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 4th from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 5th at 10:00 a.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with burial to follow in the Wolfforth Cemetery.
