Olga Villarreal, born on April 1, 1950, in Taft, Texas, passed away on January 12, 2026. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Olga dedicated 25 years of her life to serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Covenant Hospital before retiring. Her career was a manifestation of her nurturing spirit. She was a patient person who thoroughly enjoyed caring for others, a quality that resonated deeply in every aspect of her life.
Every memory shared by those who knew her is a cherished one, filled with the love she generously offered to everyone around her. Olga’s giving nature was evident in how she always sought to help whenever she could, proving her comforting soul was a refuge for many who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.
In her leisure time, Olga found joy in listening to music, coloring, sewing, and engaging in yard work alongside her husband. Shopping at her favorite store, Dillards, brought her much happiness. Above all, she loved to cook for her family, creating a welcoming atmosphere filled with warmth and laughter. Spending time with her grandchildren was a particular joy for her, as she cherished every moment shared with them.
Olga is survived by her three children, Elaine Ortiz (Michael), Lisa Olaez (Armando), and Rudy Villarreal (Crystal). She was a devoted grandmother to Vanessa (Jeremy), Mika, Zachary, Jett, Chason, and Paizlie, and a proud great-grandmother of six.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Rodolfo Villarreal; her grandson, Leandro Gary Garcia; and her mother-in-law, Aurora Villarreal. Olga's legacy of love and care will continue to resonate within her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
