Odilia Villarreal

Odilia Villarreal, a beloved matriarch, was born on January 27, 1942, in Orange Grove, Texas. After a life filled with love and devotion, she passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. She is remembered for her radiant smile and unparalleled kindness, qualities that endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Odilia was a sweet person who cherished her family deeply, particularly her children and grandchildren. Her pride in her family was evident in all she did, and she viewed her children as her greatest accomplishment. She is survived by her daughter Margaret V. Garcia, and her spouse, Steven Garcia; her son Joe Villarreal, and his spouse, Linda Villarreal; her son Ruben Villarreal; and her daughter Valerie Villarreal, alongside her spouse Paul Medina Jr. In addition to her children, Odilia leaves behind a remarkable legacy of thirteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren, each carrying a piece of her spirit and love.

In her leisure time, Odilia enjoyed playing Bingo and trying her luck at the slot machines, finding joy and excitement in these simple pleasures. Her warmth and caring nature made her the heart of her family, and her presence will be sorely missed.

She is preceded in death by her son, Eduardo Villarreal, and her devoted husband, Jose Servando Villarreal. As we celebrate her life, we honor the countless memories she created and the love she shared. Odilia Villarreal's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
