Ninfa Q. Valdez

Services for Ninfa Valdez, age 67 of Lubbock, Texas will be at 10:00 AM at Guajardo Funeral Chapels Saturday, October 20, 2018 with Reverend Kevin Johnson officiating.  Evening prayer service and viewing will begin at 7:00 PM October 19th at Guajardo Funeral Chapels.  Interment will be at Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels.

Ninfa passed away on October 16, 2018 at University Medical Center.  She was born December 27, 1950 in Ballinger, Texas to Patricio and Esperanza Quesada.  She married Luis Valdez on August 14, 1966 in Brownfield, Texas.  Ninfa and Luis Valdez share eleven children.  They divorced in 1994.  Later, Ninfa met and began a loving relationship with Juan Mojica until her passing.

Ninfa is preceded in death by her parents, Patricio and Esperanza Quesada, her sisters Delia Garza and Sylvia Garza, grandchildren Marvin Jackson, Jr. and Jazzman Nicole Ledezma.

Survivors include siblings Linda Fonseca, Moises Quesada, Eva Orozco, Mary Garcia, Lisa Guerra, Isabell Quesada, Gloria Martinez and Samuel Quesada; children Elizabeth Valdez of Abilene, Christella and Robert Rossette of Lubbock, Rachel and Danny Villalpando of Lubbock, Rebecca and Marvin Jackson of Spring Branch, Michelle and Cary Williamson of Spring Branch, Luis Jr. and Stormi Valdez of Lubbock, Delia Valdez of Lubbock, Jason Valdez of Lubbock, Patricia Valdez of Ft. Stockton, Rocky and Kortney Valdez of Lubbock, Jacob and Michelle Valdez of Kerrville; twenty-eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
