Monzy (Monciy) H. Hernandez, 65 passed away January 11th, 2023 at UMC. He was engaged to Diana Gutierrez and shared 18 years together. He was born on September 28. 1957 in Big Spring, TX to Gregorio & Paula Hernandez. He attended Frenship High School. He was self-employed and owned Monzy's Lawn Service. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He enjoyed Drinking Budweiser, Dancing, BBQing, Watching football, spending time with his family, Watching action movies, playing his music (Loud), Making everyone laugh. He will be remembered for being the life of the party, his dance moves, his green and white cooler, his love for the Cowboys and his mahomes (he would say), and his phone calls. He is survived by his fiance Diana Gutierrez, Son Monzy Hernandez Jr. wife Amanda, Daughters Vanessa M.Baca, Valerie M. Fabila husband David Fabila. Brothers Mike, Johnny, Sammy, David, Jimmy, Lee Hernandez, Sisters Mary Contreras, Diana Hernandez, Herlinda Hernandez. 5 Grandchildren Adam, Evelyn, Jesus Jr, Aburee, Monzy III, and his pets his love Baby, Charlie, Toby. He is preceded in death by his grandson Christopher Anthony Fabila, Brothers Joe, Greg, George, Benito Hernandez, Parents Gregoria & Paula Hernandez.

Visitation will be held from 3:00pm-9:00pm on Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels, with rosary beginning at 7:00pm.

Visitation will also be held from 9:00am- 9:00pm on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00pm.
