Modesta Rodriguez

Modesta Rodriguez was born February 28, 1941 in Bartlett, TX and passed from this life on September 2, 2022 at the age of 81. She married Louis Rodriguez on December 22, 1962 in Wilson, TX and they shared 57 years together. Modesta was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, yard work, and working on the farm. She will be remembered for her delicious cooking.
Modesta is survived by her son Michael Rodriguez; her grandchildren Damien Rodriguez, Chelsi Flores, and Michaela Rodriguez; and her great-grandchildren Brielle Pena and Madelyn Pena. She is preceded in death by her husband Louis Rodriguez, her father Carlos Velasquez, her mother Blasa Velasquez, and her sister Sarah Duenes.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 7 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m. Guajardo Funeral Chapels with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
