Maurillia G. Soto

Maurillia "Margie" G. Soto went to her eternal home October 25, 2021, at the age of 97. She was born September 13, 1924 to Jose Gonzales and Benita Alvarez. She married Trine Soto, Sr. on December 19, 1950, in Caldwell County and they have shared 70 years together. Margie will be remembered as a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Trine Soto, Sr., her children, Janie Rodriguez, Maria Martinez, Estella DeLeon, Gracie & Ramon Benitez, Trine & Margie Soto, Jr., Joe & Dale Soto, and Rosa & Daniel Salas; 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and one sister Benita Gonzales of San Marcos, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 5 sisters.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 28 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary Prayer at 7:00 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Idalou, TX.
