Matthew Zhine

Matthew Zhine, 98, passed from this life on January 23, 2022.

A graveside memorial will be held at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 12 noon.

Matthew was born in Lukachukai, Arizona to Curtis and Benenibetis Cisco on April 16, 1923.

He is survived by a son, Matthew Zhine, Jr., daughters Jay Zhine, Laura Zhine, Rosalie Zhine and Madlyn Guarino, three grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Matthew was a World War II veteran with the Army Air Corps in the European Theater. He was a life member of the Pipefitters 798 Union and was very active in running road races throughout his life. He worked and raced into his 80’s and was very proud of that. He enjoyed spending time with his family and dogs.
