Mary Ann Elizabeth Reyna

Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mary Ann Reyna, 59, went to be with our heavenly Lord on August 19, 2019. Mary Ann was surrounded by those who loved her most. Mary Ann was born in Lubbock, Tx to the late Felix and Manuela Zavala on November 10, 1959. Mary Ann was an officer for Texas Department of Criminal Justice and recently retired after 20 years of dedicated services. She was a devote Christian, devoted mother and grandmother and loved by all who crossed her path and touched so many lived that most if not all considered her their second mom. “To know her was to love her”. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. Those to cherish her memory are her three children: Michael Zavala, Jeremy Munoz and Nicole Munoz Leyva all of Lubbock, Tx; sisters: Ester Stone of Lubbock, and Jean Johnson of Atlanta, Ga; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and extended friends and family. Services will be provided by Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Visitation will begin on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Fellowship and Prayer to be recited beginning at 7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Monday, August 26, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Interment services to follow in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.
