Martha Sustaita

Martha Inguanza Sustaita passed from this life on June 10, 2023 at the age of 79. She was born May 9, 1944 in San Diego, TX to Reynaldo and Manuela Inguanza. She was employed at UMC for over 30 years until her retirement in 2018. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and cooking. She will be remembered for her honesty, her humor, and her selflessness.
Martha is survived by her daughters Janie Sustaita (Pete) and Priscilla O'Brien (Rance), her granddaughters Valerie Arroyos (Pete), Heather O'Brien (Troy), Rylee O'Brien, her grandson Pete Arroyos, her great-granddaughters Victoria Aguirre, Vanessa Aguirre, Ariella Aguirre, Azalea Arroyos, her great-grandsons Aveighn Arroyos and Cason O'Brien-Cook, her sisters Sheila Inguanza, Sue Inguanza, Gloria Ynguanza, and her brothers Ramon Inguanza and Rene Inguanza. She is preceded in death by Cresencio Sustaita, her son Cresencio Sustaita, Jr., her parents Reynaldo and Manuela Inguanza, her brothers Reynaldo, Rudy, and Roy Inguanza, and her sisters Becky Gillett and Ida Trujillo.
A funeral service will be held Friday, June 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
Visitations will be held Wednesday, June 14 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 15 from 9:00 to 9:00 with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
