Marie Ann Medellin

Marie Ann Medellin, born on April 14, 1973, in Lubbock, Texas, passed away on November 7, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend whose spirit touched the lives of many.

Marie graduated from Coronado High School, where she began to cultivate her passions and forge lifelong friendships. Those who knew Marie remember her vibrant personality and kindness.

Marie was a fighter and overcame multiple illnesses. She was the backbone of her family. She had a big heart and took care of many in the family.

Marie is survived by her devoted mother, Ramona Clara Galicia, and her brothers: Martin Medellan Jr., Juan Jose Medellin, David Medellin, Raymond Medellin, and Albert Medellin, and her sister, Connie Medellin. She will be greatly missed by her nephews Martin Alexander “Spanky” Medellin, Jaeden A. Villarreal, and Noah I. Villarreal, and her niece Neena A. Medellin. Each family member held a special place in her heart. Marie was preceded in death by her father, Martin Medellan.
