Maria Ramirez Minor went to her eternal home October 30, 2021, at the age of 85. She was born September 5, 1936 in Goliad, TX to Agapito and Julia Galindo Ramirez. She married Adolfo Minor on May 18, 1956 in Poth, TX, and they shared 49 years together. Maria was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and served as a Guadalupana. She was a homemaker and worked as a healthcare provider for 25 years. She loved reading her Bible, crocheting, and cooking for all her family. Maria was a gardener and had many outdoor and indoor plants. She also loved to listen to English and Spanish music. She will be remembered for her devotion and being a loving and caring mother to all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was dedicated to God and her church, and she always encouraged her family to honor God and attend church. She also enjoyed volunteering and helping others.
Those left to cherish her memory are her nine children, Francis Mendoza of Lubbock, TX, Stella Mayorga of Lorenzo, TX, Adolph Minor, Jr. of Lake Worth, TX, Chris Minor of Abernathy, TX, David Minor of Garland, TX, Daniel Minor of Lorenzo, TX, Mary Ester Morales of Floydada, TX, Melvin Minor of Amarillo, TX, Bunnie Gutierrez; 26 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Amelia Caballero, Lola Lopez, Epifania Gorostiza, Ester Cantu, Sonia Ramirez.
Maria is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Adolfo C. Minor, her son Melquiades Minor, her parents Agapito and Julia Ramirez, her sisters, Isabel Adames and Epifania Ramirez, and her brothers Lorenzo Ramirez, Agapito Ramirez, Jr., Antonio Ramirez, and Domingo Ramirez.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 3 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls,TX at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 4 with burial to follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery.
