Maria Elva B. (Bosquez) Marry

Maria Elva Bosquez Marry of Lubbock, TX was born in Asherton, TX on January 9, 1929, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 14, 2021 at the age of 92 years. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Segunda and Clemencia Bosquez; her loving husband of almost 50 years, Ruben Marry; daughter, Delma Garza; son, Richard Marry; granddaughter, Monica Marry, three grandsons, Keith Elliott, Mark Martinez and Rolando Mata; and by two sisters, Zuelma Castillo and Anita Tamez. She leaves behind her children, Josephine Bosquez Lamar of, Angeline Vela, Johnnie Marry, Silbia Jaramillo, Nancy Cantu, Ida Marry, Ruben Marry Jr. and Debbie Marry Lopez; 41 grandchildren and numerous great grand and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Ofelia Maldonado and Olga Bolado; and by brother, Segundo Bosquez Jr. Maria was a happy person with a Heart of Gold who loved music and was gifted at her hobby of sewing. She was a homemaker, and loved every minute of it. She so loved her children and grandchildren. Maria was also, and most importantly, a forgiving person. She truly walked the way of Christ. Visitation will be held at Guajardo Funeral Chapels on Wednesday, January 20 from 12-9pm, and again on Thursday, January 21 from 9am-9pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited beginning at 7:00pm.
