Margarita Romo, a devoted homemaker and cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at her home, lovingly surrounded by her children. Born on November 7, 1930, Margarita lived a life deeply rooted in faith and family, embodying the values she held dear through her unwavering devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Margarita's life was a testament to love and dedication. Her greatest pride and joy were her family, whom she nurtured with affection and care. An exceptional cook and enthusiastic traveler, she found joy in the simple pleasures such as tending to her garden, exploring new places, and spending time shopping with loved ones.

Margarita’s deep faith sustained her through the years, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her to live with kindness and purpose. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose legacy will continue through the many lives she touched.

Margarita is survived by her beloved children: Fernando Romo Jr. and his wife Rosa, Arturo Romo and his wife Rosa, Albert Romo and his wife Norma, Hope R. English and her husband David, Guadalupe Romo, Angela Krauz and her husband James, and Carlos Romo and his wife Rachael. She also leaves behind a large and loving family of 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Fernando Romo, Sr., and her son, Joe Romo. Margarita’s life was a beacon of love, faith, and family—a legacy that will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed.
